My name is Anel Narynova , and I am an artist who strives to express deep emotions and raise important themes through vivid colors and textures. In my works, I use bold and unusual tones to convey feelings that are often difficult to put into words. My goal is to show that even through the childlike innocence of bright colors, important ideas can be communicated, and deep emotions can be evoked.

A number of my artworks are dedicated to the themes of combating bullying and preventing teenage suicide. I believe that art can draw attention to these important issues and inspire change.It is important for me not only to promote my art but also to bring the culture of Kazakhstan to America. As an artist, I aim to introduce audiences to the rich heritage and culture of my homeland. My exhibition at the Kazakh Consulate in San Francisco was a significant event for me, giving me the opportunity to present Kazakh culture to an American audience. This is part of my mission to be a voice for Asian women, including Kazakh artists, and to showcase their contributions to global art.

My works have been exhibited at the National Museum of Kazakhstan, as well as in cities such as New York (prestigious EF English language school) and San Diego, in local libraries, restaurants, and a floral shop.

In 2023, two of my works won second place at the Del Mar Art Festival in San Diego.

I am currently part of the Art Association in Escondido, where I volunteer to help manage the gallery. I am entrusted with gallery hours, during which I oversee its operations, assist visitors, and help with sales. This allows me to be at the heart of the art community and support fellow artists.

Additionally, I volunteer at ArtOpenStudio, where I help organize the space: unpacking materials, cleaning, and setting up the studio for artists. I also assist participants with their questions and support the studio’s daily operations. Besides that, I help create videos for the studio and assist with managing its social media presence.
